The Scala Flower Festival, an annual celebration held as a tribute to Our Lady of Conadomini, patron and protector of the city of Caltagirone, features about two thousand potted plants and flowers of different shades and colors arranged on the historic staircase of Santa Maria del Monte to create one grand design.
