The nature reserve of Vendicari, with its waterside scenarios is well preserved and well maintained and hosts a wide range of wild plants, animals; also the remains of old constructions and some very nice beaches. A special attraction are the flocks of pink flamingoes that fly in the lagoon around the month of may and in october.
