Donnafugata castle
15km south west of Ragusa, the castle of Donnafugata is a fifteenth century noble residence of absolute charm. The castle and its surroundings, have served as natural set for the much acclaimed TV series "Montalbano", as well as for some scenes of "Il Gattopardo" by world acclaimed film director Luchino Visconti, and "I vicerè", by R. Faenza.
