Otranto

Otranto is the easternmost city of Italy; a gateway between East and West, probably best known abroad for The Castle of Otranto. Otranto's leading attraction is the mosaic in the town's Romanesque cathedral. On summer nights Otranto has a lively holiday scene. North of Otranto lie the sandy beaches of the Baia dei Turchi and the Lakes Alimini. A pleasant seaside destination in the south of Otranto is Porto Badisco.
