Trekking on Mt. Etna with private guide

Trekking Etna North side, up to 2000 m. a.s.l. (only Saturdays)

Starting point: Piano Provenzana (Etna North, 1800 m. a.s.l.), 25 km away from the B&B

Trekking up to the 2000 m. a.s.l. craters with volcanological guide (Italian and English)

Fee: €25/person (minimum 6 participants); on demand days others than Saturday: €150 to share among the participants

Duration: about 2,5 hours; difficulty: easy/medium

  

Trekking up to the top crater (3000 mt.)

Starting point: Rifugio Sapienza (2000 mt.), 40 km from the property

Ascent by jeep and cable car

Walk with certified volcanologic guide (duration: 20 minutes, language: Italian/English)

Return by jeep + cable car or by foot (duration: 2/3 hours)

Rates: €65/person (jeep + cable car + guide) and €30/person (only return ticket passage by cable car)

 

Etna donkey ride

When: May to November

Starting point: Piano provenzana (24 km from the property)

Time: from 9 a.m. to the sunset

Rates: €25/adult and €20/children

Duration: 1 hour

Sicilian cooking classes by signora Linda

Minimum participants: 2

Rates: €50/person dinner included

Duration: 2-3 hours

Some examples: pasta alla norma, meat rolls, parmigiana di melanzane; or, more particular, pasta with anchovies and wild fennel, parmigiana with aubergines and spoonbill (this is just delicious! - says signora Linda)
